Tips for Choosing Your Roommate
|Once your contract is complete, it’s time to find the perfect roommate! Roommate matching is bit like online dating, except to find the perfect roommate match!
To begin, create your Profile on your MyTropAccount. Be sure to include what your interests are, as well as your academic goals and hobbies. From their you can browse through other potential roommate matches and start talking to them. Once you are communicating with potential roommates, be sure to chat about your personal preferences for sleep, noise levels, neatness (or messiness!) and even the amount of personal time and space you need, to see if you would be a good match. For more hints, check out our Roommate Communication Tips and Tropicana’s “Choosing A College Roommate” blog.
|Parking Available for Purchase
|While your skateboard and bike will get you around the college town of Isla Vista, and the bus will transport you to SBCC, you may still wish to bring your car.
